Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-26

This policy explains what personal data Revember processes, why, who it is shared with and the rights you have. The data controller is Benediktas Vilius Pučkus, an individual seller based in Lithuania, reachable at revemberhq@gmail.com.

1. Data we process

Account data: your email address and sign-in identifiers, if you create an account.

Vehicle data: the cars you add (make, model, year, engine, specs, mileage, photo), service history and costs, and inspection, insurance and road tax dates.

Photos of receipts and service booklets you choose to scan. They are processed by an AI provider to read dates, jobs and prices.

Push notification tokens, if you switch reminders on.

Pseudonymous product analytics: events such as "a service was logged", linked to a random device identifier rather than your name or email, processed by PostHog on servers in the EU.

Subscription status from Paddle: your plan, renewal date and payment state. We do not receive your full card details.

2. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

To provide the service you signed up for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), contract): storing your cars and history, calculating condition, scanning the photos you submit, the service passport, and your subscription.

Reminders and push notifications only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by switching them off.

Our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the service secure, fixing errors and understanding, in pseudonymous form, which features are used.

Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), such as keeping records needed for tax and accounting.

3. Who we share it with

Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, processes payments, taxes and billing support. Paddle handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Database and hosting providers that store and serve the app and your data.

AI providers that read the receipt and booklet photos you submit and suggest specs and service intervals.

PostHog (EU) for pseudonymous product analytics.

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service. Where any of them processes data outside the EEA, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. We never sell your personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting a car deletes its history and photos; deleting your account deletes everything linked to it.

Records we must keep by law, such as tax records of payments, are kept for the period the law requires. Guest data never reaches our servers and lives only in your browser until you clear it.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and export (portability) your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time.

To use them, write to revemberhq@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (ada.lrv.lt) or the data protection authority where you live.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use only essential cookies and browser storage: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and preferences, guest-mode data, and your cookie choice. There are no advertising trackers. See the Cookie Policy for details.

7. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when how we process data changes, and show the new date at the top.
